IM QUITTING TOMORROW, I PROMISE...

Some addictions don't look dramatic—they look like quiet promises you make to yourself over and over again. I Am Quitting Tomorrow, I Promise was created during my own struggle with quitting cigarettes. I had the song "Cigarettes Out the Window" by TV Girl playing on repeat, and so this illustration became less about smoking and more about grief, comfort, and the complicated act of letting go.
